I would recommend Italian restaurant Nico's on Dame Street for the quality of its food and excellent service by authentic Italian scallions. Their food menu offers a diverse range of pasta, veal, chicken and fish and the wine list goes on and on and on. I have tasted Chicken à la Crème with mushrooms, which was particularly tasty with crispy sautéed potatoes for €22. The atmosphere and decoration was quite remarkable and original in Dublin with its fancy Georgian wallpaper and thick matching curtains. We were also entertained by a pianist. The only negative point was the waiting for our table of 9 guests. Enjoy your din-din Capello ;-)

Its not too bad at all. But i'm not sure they'd let in Levinas hating brutes (haha). Ah no, its a very decent place to eat. Govindas on George's Street's good too, i sometimes go there.
If your looking for a place to have a look at Philsophy books, perhaps discuss them then the Milltown Institute in Ranelagh, Dublin 6 is good. If your interested ask for the most knowledgeable man i've ever known in Philosophy, Brendan Duddy. he was my old lecturer, a Jesuit Priest who lives there. Tell him Daniel-the Levinas nut-sent you. i studied under him from 1999 to 2003
